Green Trade Clothing is an eco-friendly site based on recycling and trading clothing.    Users can upload clothing, shoes, accessories, anything that they no longer want and trade these items for new items.  There are no user membership fees, all you have to pay is the shipping and $1 per trade.  It is one step closer to becoming more green and reducing your carbon footprints on our precious earth.  It is similar to a thrift store shopping experience but a complete new concept where points take the place of money. Huh! kind of like back in the day, when they traded goods for goods, and money was not invented yet.

The idea was invented by  Sukara Sterling, a gal who loves fashion and loves the concept of trading.  After talking with her friends about their wardrobes and recognizes a niche for trading, she came up with the Green Trade Clothing idea.  Her friends would say they never wear anything they buy, but don't want to just give it away  because they spent so much money on the it.  She also feels, like we currently live in a "throw away" society  why not start recycling clothing too.
